Visiting Lisieux, France

Lisieux is the location of The Carmel monastery where St. Therese spent her years as a religious. Lisieux is becoming one of the premier pilgrimage places in the world, currently receiving more than two million pilgrims a year and the number continues to grow. The city is well established for receiving pilgrims, with a number of places related to the life of St. Therese. The most prominent are the Carmelite convent, her childhood home (Les Buissonets), the Cathedral, and the Basilica. Below is an information list for planning pilgrimages.
