Located just 25 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, right off I-55 at Cass Avenue North exit 273B, the National Shrine and Museum of St. Therese are conveniently located and still a beautiful private retreat. The Carmelite Campus features over 40 acres of grounds, including beautiful Stations of the Cross and a number of prayer stations and sacred spaces throughout the grounds.
The Shrine and Museum are open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central Time. Ample parking is available around the Shrine building and all entrances are wheelchair-accessible. If you’re interested in planning a visit for a group larger than 20 people, we offer a variety of special guided tour packages with options for meals and lodging.
Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. Central Time. Mass takes place in the National Shrine building.
